I rather liked it. It did well at the Globes, will do well at the Oscars I would say.
I think you'll find things are a little more complicated than that.

Another of your identical childish name calling replies to me within the space of a day or so. Your cyber-stalking is not a good look. But have a nice day and my regards to your mother.

Me too. I went in with no expectations. I thought it was going to be dead serious, so I was surprised by how funny it was.

Basically every movie these days is either a comedy or unintentional comedy.

It was an unintentional laugh riot - the sheer levels of Woke were hilariously obvious and crude.
Less funny is how PTA, one of our fast dwindling great directors, has destroyed his reputation with this film.
He used to be one to watch, now he’s one to dodge. Sad.

It literally had a Mary Sue hero. How utterly contrived and predictable.
This movie did nothing new or clever - it was just painstakingly generic and monotonous.
Another one that feels like it was made by AI.

Not only that, it celebrated mass criminal alien crossings and glorified and encouraged the kind of violent activism that got Charlie Kirk murdered, Trump almost assassinated etc.
A genuinely toxic piece of work.

Off the top of my head the best movies of 2025 were:
                    The Phoenician scheme
                    The long walk
                    Weapons
                    Bring Her Back
                    The life of chuck
                    Marty Supreme
                    Steve
                    I Swear
This movie did nothing for me

Steve thought it was a great movie!
