I think Kareem should have asked for a raise, if Nino was making a million a week and he was only getting 8,000 a week.
CMB was making a million a week, but do you see how many people are on the payroll? Not like Nino was pocketing a million a week.

Fair argument, but still, you have to have an exit strategy.
Out of that $25M in an 80's economy, he probably cuts himself 50-60% of that (because he's a selfish bastard type of a leader). Even after he pays everybody, he still probably walks away with $10-15M, tax free.
OK, so how many's on the payroll? G-Money, Keisha, Bank Man, Da Da Da Man, a few guys pulling security in other places. Did I miss anyone (not an expert in this arena)? Maybe $10M was his ceiling after paying everybody. Still a lot of tax free money. -

off the top of my head, you missed all those naked people making the drugs and those people in the computer room. And it's more than just a few guys pulling security.
But all this is beside the point.
Drug dealers aint gonna quit selling drugs if theyre making millions of dollars. They just arent. You and I, sure, but not drug lords.

Plus you gotta include gas, electricity, water rates, community charge, accountant, food, transportation, cellphone… plus the clothing since CMB middle management has the uniform, so really many fees, hana

Well, when it's an illegal business, where you're competing against not only against rival crews, but the cops are homing in on your stationary operations, hell yeah. You get the hell out after 6 months, tops.
Do the math, dude. 6 months of making $1M a week. 4 weeks x 6 months = 24+ weeks (some months have 5) = $25Mmade in the 80's economy. You get out quick and move to Florida.
There are only two ways out of the high crime business: jail or death. It's not a long term business plan.
The longer you linger around, the longer cops have to plan for you. When you have a crapload of money with NO EXPLANATION of income, the authorities KNOW about youeven in NYC, or LA or wherever. He and his operation was a sitting duck, waiting to get plucked. -

In the movie "Super Fly," a 70s' version of NJC, Priest, the drug kingpin of this movie, wisely decided to call it quits after he made "the big one" ($1 million).
Unlike Nino and Tony, Priest was smart enough to get while he was ahead and won in the end.
