The Last Duel
(Ridley Scott, 2021) 9/10
Excellent medieval spectacle! French knights Matt Damon and Adam Driver bond in battle but later a rift opens between them. When Damon is away on business, Driver invades his home and rapes his young wife (Jodie Comer). The story is told from Damon's point of view, then Driver's, and finally Comer's. At first the film feels a little choppy, maybe a little hard to follow, but by the time we start to re-experience the events from Driver's POV, everything becomes pretty clear. Set during the late 14th Century, expect some really horrific violence. I don't think I need to explain how unpleasant the film will get. One of Scott's best films, and one of the best of 2021.

lol, but I thought that was the only thing he ever said in any movie. Those video logs in the movie the Martian were hilarious but very repetitive. He just said "MATT DAMON" into the rover camera for 3 hours. Not sure how that movie got greenlit…

i dont know because still watching: i watch 30 seconds each week. almost done with it.
