Yeah, the remake was soft core porn and pretty bad, The original, a Jacques Tourneur/Val Lewton corroboration, was so much better. I admit I am somewhat prejudiced as I am a fan of both Lewton and Tourneur.
If you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.
