now dont get me wrong, ive only seen the first 40 minutes or so of the movie (in health class)we stopped just when the fat guy told seth he was a former angel, but all i could think about is what a lurk nicholas cage was. i mean, come on, following around that girl. he looked so creepy, especially during that scene when she was taking a bath, and then he walks up behind her, and looks down. and when they first meet in the hospital?? i wouldve called security on him.

Ha, I agree. I pointed this out to my girlfriend, whom I was watching it with. He came across as creepy more than anything, if you ask me. Wings of Desire had a lot of subtlety to it and the relationship between the characters felt believable. I don't think it did here. At times it seemed almost ludicrous (when she began slapping him, accused him on lying when if he did tell her the truth from the offset she never would have believed him and when she tried cutting him with a knife to see if he would bleed! What if he had?).
The final scene between the two was laughable, also.

He is the Edward to her Bella.
In other words, a freaking creepy stalker who watches women sleep and bathe. If you think about it, this movie is like a knock off of Ghost.

What's even creepier is them playing "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette during the credits. Like..first off that song is totally her saying whoever is obsessed with her is a stalker and he isn't "invited" to be with her. And they..put it a the end of the movie??
Oh and how does he NOT go to JAIL? He ran into the hospital raving like a freaking lunatic and the next day Meg Ryan just happens to die and he is there with her. Suspicious to everyone else much? I mean, the truck driver guy can say she hit him (because she did hit him, he didn't hit her) but still, her death still makes him look suspicious.
And I just love how Ryan happens to crash into the truck AFTER she's just had her free falling, eye closing, arms wide open Creed moment on the bike. She's going like 5 miles an hour and crashes into logs?????

How does Maggie's death make Seth look suspicious? Like you said, the truck driver could testify that she ran into him during a random act of stupidity on her bicycle.
