Crimson Peak was such a delicious watch, I ate it up. Scrumptious movie. Guillermo is the MAN.

I am sad to agree with you! I loved Pan's Labyrinth immensely and immediately. But I haven't really enjoyed any of his other films. Crimson peak was dismal and predictable. Sad.

It was made before Pan but Devil's Backbone is a fantastic film.
Blade 2, Pacific Rim and Hellboy were also good dumb action movies.
If I never meet you in this life, let me feel the lack

Nah, since The Devil's Backbone, Cronos, and The Hellboy movies were good, they prove Pan's Labyrinth was not a fluke.
Plus, Pacific Rim was a blast.
              You are sin.

It pains me to say this but I agree with you. PL is a genuinely great film and I have been waiting for something even approaching that good from Del Toro. Alas, still waiting.
