stupid dirty hippies talk talk talk about the environment, but when no one is looking, they throw their trash.
I've personally witnessed this twice once a friend of a neighbor chucked a broken radiator over a fence in a touristy downtown area (I was living at a downtown loft building)
another time, my dirty hippy neighbors dumped a bunch of garbage on my property when I was working out of town. When I returned and called him on it, he acted all whiny and putt-out. -

Funny you should write about this, because I was thinking about the situation with the trash, and how the environmental movement in this country began just a year later with the advent of Earth Day in April of 1970. And I was wondering if he did this for the opposite reasonto raise awareness of improper trash dumping.

well even though they should make their actions match their words better (if for no other reason than to avoid criticisms like yours) they probably rail about the environment because corporations belch and dump millions of gallons and tons of polluted waste into our air, water and land on a dialy basis. So since it seems hopeless to them for this to stop they dont see a relatively miniscule amount of littering to be a big deal. Same thing when people criticize environmentalists like Dave Matthews for using a bus to tour or George Clooney owning a plane. Get it now?

Apparently you have no flaws and never ever do anything against what you normally oppose or feel strongly agaiinst in any way, shape, or form. Must be nice since you are the only person in the history of the world to be this way. Even Jesus had his moments of weakness; but not you.
