I'm the same age, so I grew up watching you in "Beaches" and "Blossom" and have always been a fan of your excellent work.
I was happy when I heard that you had decided to focus your time and energy on getting the education you wanted and fulfilling a goal you had set for yourself. This, of course, meant that I wouldn't be able to enjoy new work from you on screen for a while, but that's just selfishness talking. You are someone that I would definitely tell my nieces to look up to as a role model.
All that said, I was ecstatic when I learned you were going to be on "The Big Bang Theory" and then thrilled again when you were made a regular. You are consistently hilarious and moving as Amy and I just have to say I am glad to see you again on a weekly basis.
Happy Birthday again, and thanks for the entertainment.
