Agreed about true friendships, as it's the same for me. I think it's true for most.
Oh, I see what you mean. When you give bigger leeway to people you like than people you don't. Allegiance to me means more like a fealty thing. -

Fealty is a fine thing to many Loki
But I don't pledge an oath to soil, flag, god or celebrity
And many of those who do generally don't follow their own rules, proving their fealty is fickle
That's why something as dark and taboo as kiddie fiddling was a 'cool' and 'edgy' take on trolling around here until it seemed like a valid attack on Trump via Epstein. Now that it's been shown that Epstein was a big friend of the Democrats any mention of such things is seen as crass by now pious purist progressives.
I've no issue with people having opinions, but they need to stick to them or openly admit that they've changed them
Gaiman is one who pushed a narrative (A male feminist one) and that flagged my attention. Not every man is a rapist but ever male feminist is
Just like how not every transsexual person is a mental case, but the ones that insist upon you knowing and using their 'pronouns' are.
Bullying is a form of rape and it comes in many shapes and forms.
Blasting female reproductive issues as a core component to a political campaign is insensitive and abusive to many, many people. Telling anyone that tries to point that out that they are 'triggering' is a further backhanded metaphorical slap.
Those in the stalls cheering it on and waiting for the next pantomime twist in the tale, both here and on social media in general, are no different to the crowd egging on the abuse of Jodie Foster's character in
The Accused (1988)
Holding a mirror up to the crowd, or better yet - taking a picture and archiving it online, really reigns in the hysteria and brings sombre, helpful discussion rather than a pitchfork mob acting without rationale.
That's where my fidelity lies -

We live in very different countries. Our male feminists are quie different from yours, from the vibes I'm picking up here.
I'm sure Swedish men are more passable in the vibe of just being decent egalitarian guys Loki
But the ones who call themselves "Male feminists" are the same the world over (And I've been all over it
). -

Anyone who refers to themselves as a male feminist deserves a massive boot in the baws
Greetings. I arrived on Planet Earth from Planet Zambodia 333 years ago to rule Bongoland, as Prince of the Mongos -

You're right that Sweden doesn't use terms like male feminists. They don't use a word for what they are, which for the most part is treating women as they would wish to be treated themselves. More of a "try not to be an arsehole wherever possible type" mentality.
Ok, I'm way oversimplifying it but you get the general drift. -

I've more than a few friends who are Swedish Loki and all of the men are very decent people who would always help and give the best advice possible to everyone equally.
The entire concept of feminism isn't something they consider, they just want people to be happy and well, same as me oddly
And likewise the women.
But men are still men and women are still women. Equal and still different.
We'd much rather have a laugh about how the sentence "In the stream there is an island and on the island, there is a stream" compares to other tongue twisters from around the world than moan and complain about things which are easily fixed -

I would say watch it if you liked the GNs. There's an episode I ****ing bawled at. Won't tell you which.
But it ended as it should. It didn't feel like there needed to be more said. And they NAILED the casting of Morpheus.
I've not watched the show and may not since it seems to have been canceled early.
