@Fiero
The Russians have no one to blame but themselves? What a moronic, ignorant generalization. Should we say all Ethiopians brought hunger onto themselves? No, it's only okay to generalize white nations, huh! Moron. -

Oh, political correctness eh? They are an "off limits" protected class that can't be fictional bad guys in movies huh? Has someone been "offended"? Oh dear, call the press, someone else has been offended, what will we ever do.
Ban Air Force One, pull it from the shelves. It is full of "anti Russian" hate. Bring up the writers and directors on hate crime charges. Someone else has been offended. Scratch another word or topic of your list of things you can say or do lest someone get offended. We can't stand for that.

I know quite a few Russians in Florida and I have to say a great percentage of them are involved with the mob or in shady dealings of some sort. My friend employee's a lot of them in his construction business - they are great carpenters. While most of those guys may not be mob, you wouldn't want your daughter dating them. They are grown men who drink until falling down, fight everyone in the bars and their weekend is not complete unless they are being bailed out Monday Morning. I ask him and others if there are any regular Russians ad he said some of their wives are nice people. Even the store owners do all kind of shady dealings on the side. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I have asked ones I have known well and they say you had to be in Russia or you wouldn't survive. Everyone deals with the black market to stay afloat. Its their way of life. The Russian mob is big in Florida. They own half the strip clubs and they operate their mob doings out the clubs.They are big in Credit Card Fraud also.
Its just the facts. -

Hmmm. Those films depict Russian Gangsters. Gangsters is the key word here. Quit being so sensitive.
So, going by your complaint, all of these films are saying all Russians are like this. Let me askdo you jump to ridiculous conclusions with everything?
I'm sure glad that when I watched Grumpy Old Men I didn't lose my mind and start screaming at the screen "stop picking on old people."
I'll never understand why people watch a film which depicts a particular group and they think it encompasses everyone.
Again, quit being so sensitive.
I just threw up a little in my mouth. -

Russians are a downtrodden people led by thugs (Putin, e.g.) and preyed upon by criminals.
For an action movie, using them as murderers and thieves is effective shorthand and allows the story to focus on their elimination.
