Bluray.com just announced that they're releasing it on Blu-Ray over in Germany. Hopefully this means we'll see it here soon after as well.
Update: Yup it will be released in the US on July 10th!!!

I picked up the "Outland" Blu-ray at Wal-Mart last night for $15. There's a commentary with director Peter Hyams, which is a nice bonus.
What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Given the general crappiness of the Region 1 DVD, the Blu-Ray is definitely worth the cost of admission. Colour is exceptionally well-mastered, and the sharpness and picture stabilization are likewise impressive; they really make the film look good today!

Having had the horrendous DVD for years, I'd given up on a remaster, let alone Blu Ray.
I couldn't believe it when I saw it available in BDordered instantly! Can't wait to watch this!!

The blu ray from 2012 was an upgrade from the previous releases but it looks pretty bad compared to the excellent Arrow 4k.
