I've checked him on IMDB and my music service and only come up with a few cameos. Was he just a fringe actor who only got four parts? I've always imagined him as someone (singer, writer, actor) who is HUGE in some very obsure genre. Any help?

King Cotton is an singer and producer for indie bands. But I don't think he's ever made an album himself.

I know it's been awhile since this question was asked but after viewing the movie tonight for the first time, I too wondered the same thing.
