A very HAPPY birthday to a beautiful woman and an extraordinarily gifted star! Just watched RANSOM FOR A DEAD MAN a little while ago as a tribute to herI saw it for the first time a few days ago and it has become my most favorite Lee Grant performance. What a fantastic vehicle for herFalk was good but this is really Lee's show. I'm so glad she received an Emmy nomination for it. She actually won the Emmy that year for another performance, THE NEILON CEILING, which I have not yet seen. I'm sure she was sensational in it, however. I can't think of a time when she was anything less.
