if what you say is true, then he has taken someone he was responsible for and treated her mental illness by supporting someone butchering her otherwise healthy physical body.
i can see he's in deep and he's most likely surrounded by people in the same groupthink. it's sort of like those who are naive enough to get an abortion without due consideration. they will be trapped in that social bubble with people whom, down the road, they may find are rather toxic, but they can never leave that bubble because the false reality won't be confirmed anymore. they'll have to face what they've done with another group's morals. this is the type of thing that can also lead to some pretty strong vices in order to dull that social shame.
if you want to make someone crazy, change what their group finds acceptable constantly. if that group is part of their identity, they will suffer subsequent identity issues. given the state of mental therapies these days, there's no way anyone is going to suffer that trauma and come out the other side in a better state, long term. -

I simply have an adult son who has transitioned when over 18 and is now happily married, although its true I supported him in his decision. This has exercised Meltdown so much he has spent months going on about it, misrepresenting matters and slandering me (even devoting two or three call out threads about it!), on the basis of his own bigotry and phobias, which has always said far more about him than it does me. I shan't say anymore as I try not to feed the trolls.
As for the rest of what you say, such reasoning can of course be just as well be applied to the groupthink of right wing fundamentalists, or those who blindly follow the Trump personality cult, come to that.
What all this has to do with record-checked drag acts entertaining children in a controlled environment, is anyone's guess.

no disagreement there. groupthink and being a cult initiate, along with protecting the group as part of one's own identity is something every gang does. From wolf pack to political party.

Great analysis of what’s going on with Flimflam. The reason he needs to defend the Leftist cult constantly is because otherwise he’ll need to accept that he permanently mutilated and sterilised his own daughter for no good reason, and that is utterly intolerable.
His smugness (‘glad to help’, ‘I can spell, too!’) is part of the persona he has created in which he is a superior being who is beyond reproach. He needs to convince himself, and you, that he was absolutely correct in needlessly butchering his child.

Children do not automatically have consent to school activities; their participation is subject to parental consent, which is always required for younger children and for activities involving higher risk or occurring outside school hours. Schools generally don't need consent for routine, curriculum-based activities.
I might also add two further points which I would have thought would be obvious: most children love dressing up and dressing up games; and one does not need to be gay to be a transvestite. Sexual orientation, which is about who you are attracted to, is distinct from gender expression. You are right in saying that doing drag and being transgender are not the same thing.
I think you'll find things are a little more complicated than that.
