He was shot many times in one night before being blown up and set on fire, and he survived it all. I think that indicates there's something supernatural about Michael and can maybe even regenerate lost limbs and organs.

IT would have helped if the film-makers could have maintained a consistent grip on that concept. But they seem to never have made their minds up. Or didn't care.

She shot him above his eyes, in his forehead. A closeup after the shot shows his eyes open and fully intact, but the blood from his wound pours in his eyes and blinds him.

Except there are no bullet holes in his forehead, anywhere.
There are no bullet holes in the mask.
He was shot in the eyes bur the bad make up effect makes it look like he's only had two tiny pin pricks in the centre of each eye.
The mask covers his face except for the ocular cavity. If he was shot in the head we should see holes in the mask and blood coming out of them, and not instantly trickling in two perfectly straight thin lines down into his eyes.
So he must have been shot in the eyes which are bloody but the effect makes them appear largely intact.

Michael is like a mythological creature. The older he gets, the more powerful he becomes. Sleep heals him. He regenerates over time. That kind of ****. He's not mortal.
