Chooses?
He Ran a Ring, a Circus, kept them at his home privately, bought them off, bought off their silence, Preyed on soft targets.

Jackson was an eccentric and cancel culture wasn't a big thing in the media in the 80's and 90's.
His superstar privilege did allow him a free pass, (something he wouldn't get away with today), yet while there were still accusations later and court proceedings, it does seem suss that he made settlements out of court, yet it didn't really tarnish his image for many of his fans.
Thing is though, many were saying there was an agenda all along that the kids parents allowed their children to stay with him because of Jacko's status and privilege. This is questionable parenting and then there is the media promotion branding Jacko as an innocent man child himself.
I'd say the truth sits in the middle somewhere. Jackson was a troubled, spoiled and narcissistic man and his image of being childlike gave him a free pass too for a while, he was psychologically damaged and protected by other big names in the industry.

If anything, this shows that something like this should NEVER be allowed to happen again with superstar privilege, celebrity smoke screens and irresponsible parents who used their children.

No, but if he was still alive, things may well be a very different story. Because he was protected when he was, by phony elitist Libs celebrities who thought they were untouchable, (some like wacky Babs still think they are), the consequence was the questionable "me too" movement about 25yrs after the fact with distorted facts.

"His accusers were thought to be lying. I do know he shouldn't have had kids in bed with him if that's what he was doing
That alone would cause suspicion and get you in trouble"
Exactly.
Why did he keep on hanging around with children after the first accusation when he made a payout to avoid a trial.
He kept on playing with fire when he should have stopped.

Why did moronic breeders allow their kids to hang out with him after the first accusation?

Breeders?
Sounds familiar.
To answer your question, he'd pay off the parents, giving them gifts or juicy contracts making their dreams come true. And, of course, read every post of the True Believers
on this thread and you'll get an idea of how the parents thought. He simply could do no wrong! How could you think such a thing! -

he did it just watch the HBO documentary. the things they said the details they gave is too significant and too convincing to not be true and them being 2 separate people and where they were make it impossible for it to be a coincidence that they are both lying.

At first, yeah. Then they changed their story after lying repeatedly which doesn't help today.

Their father, Joe Jackson, was very abusive and beat his sons. Michael would usually avoid the beatings because he would run and hide
