Which sequels from popular movie franchises were most underrated and overlooked???
My ideas:
RoboCop 2
RoboCop 3
Alien 3
Lethal Weapon 3
Die Hard 2
Jurassic Park 3
House 2: The Second Story
House 4
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Resident Evil: Extinction
Mad Max 3
Mission: Impossible 3
Scream 3
Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
Predator 2
Moonraker
Rambo 2
Rambo 3
Blade: Trinity
Mortal Kombat 2
Most of them are my guilty-pleasures! -

Star Trek: The Motion Picture (if I can count it as a sequel to the TV series)
Gremlins II
Star Trek III
Superman III
House 2: The Second Story
Rocky IV
I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. Maybe I'll add some more later.
A lot of the ones on your list I have not seen, but I bought all the Blade films as a movie 4 pack recently because I like the first one, but have not watched the rest yet. -

I'm not a big fan of either
Die Hard 2
or
Predator 2
, but both are OK. I think
Predator 2
is actually better than the first one. But I don't remember either getting trashed. If I thought they were generally disliked, I'd call them underrated too, but to me they just seem like so-so movies with so-so reputations. -

this is not a sequeland actually i just looked it up and it didnt get horrible reviews so i guess its not really underratedbut i thought ravenous was very misunderstoodin the sense that as i was watching it, i felt that nothing, well, spectacularly intellectual happened on the surface but there seemed to me to be lots of inside jokes between the director and the small number of people who would get it. i cant go into detail because i havent seen it in a long time. it struck me as very negative beyond a level where your average doofus would really understand, and the director seemed to know this.
