P.S. - why did daddy give them flashlights?? it makes no sense at all that he provided the children with flashlights if he was holding them hostage!!!! I can't get over this.. please someone explain this!!! what the hell would mutants living under the stairs need flashlights for???? We are to believe that every now and then daddy gives them batteries to operate these flashlights? i know this is just a fantasy movie but give us a BREAK. If you held captive 20 (or so) people in your basement I highly doubt you would care about providing them with flashlights and batteries. "daddy" is especially vindictive and i highly doubt he take the time out of his day to buy flashlights and batteries for these teenage mutants. i know this is ridiculous but this is just sooo freakin stupid. They live there whole lives in the dark and can obviously see where there going, so why would they give the teen mutants flashlights?

Number 1: Daddy is insane so who the hell knows what goes on in his mind and number 2: Roach got them batteries in exchange for sexual favors as stated in the best PUTS fic outthere, Roach.
