His facial expressions, the way you sing some of his line, and the way he runs around like a lumbering oaf are just hilarious. I knew this movie is rated R and labeled as a horror, but it's almost a kids version of a horror movie. The way Mommy and Daddy get their asses kicked by Fool is very similar to Home Alone, The Goonies, or an old Saturday morning cartoon.

I love his delivery of "can't see sh*t!"

Daddy was like Leatherface and Ash all rolled into one.

I was coming here to say the same exact thing and it turns out I already did! As I was doing my semi-yearly re-watch, I found myself rewinding several times. His faces, delivery, the singing - it's glorious!

Daddy's singing, facial expressions and noises he makes are comedic gold!! He's like one of the Stooges.

Everett McGill was an absolute loony hoot to behold running about his fortified home in a kinky S&M leather outfit while brandishing a shotgun.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Did he write the movie? "Genius" is a much-overused phrase in this era.
Usually based on a measly 1-2 performances.
Reminder: actors don't usually write the lines they're given to speak. They're like little circus dogs, trained to jump through hoops.
Whereas someone like Chaplin conceived, wrote, directed, produced, and performed in his movies.
