Does anyone find this disgusting?

This is hysterical. I wondered when this would be brought up.
The writers kept it so that "technically" he wasn't engaging in incest, even in a roundabout way.
With that said, notice how when Brantley realizes who she is, her first response is "Auntie Vera?" and laughs hysterically. After that encounter, she still pursues him with an intense libido, both in Howard's office, then in kissing Brantley behind a doorway at their party. The point being, I think was to show the comedic elements of how a midwestern, boy-next-door, fish out of water pup like Brantley could get caught up in the dormant sexual yearnings of a gorgeous sophisticated metropolitan woman like Vera, and how their "incest" didn't even phase her, but instead his innocence actually turned her on.
I also find it hysterical how several men on this board wouldn't have minded "getting it on" with their "attractive aunts" when the men were teenagers. Me personally? No, lol. But I have witnessed over the years how some young men are with an older woman and I wonder if it's a relative (from the way they relate) and the "closeness" and "intimacy" between them seems to near borderline inappropriate. Innocent enough stuff to a degree, but you've gotta wonder. -

They were not related by DNA.
I freaked out the simalr way in the Very Brady Sequel, when Marcia and Greg were kissing on the lipsthen my dad said stepsiblings are legally allowed to engage in sexual relations since they don't have common DNA. But most stepsibling don't. -

If step-siblings shagged, it would be perfectly legal as long as they were both consenting, of-age adults. There is no "law" preventing ANY two adults from havine sexual relations. Get over that.
It may make your skin crawl, and if too closely related, negative genes are often reinforced, but it is NOT illegal. Period. -

Agreed.
There's a difference between having sex, and marrying. There is no law preventing step-siblings from either having sex or getting marriedin fact I know of a married couple who are also step-siblings (their parents married when both were adults).
There is also no law against
siblings
having sexjust against getting married. -

People have been arrested for having sex with siblings and/or parents, even adults with no history of being abused or of abusing. Check it out:
