I personally think that Junior was at his funniest/dumbest in this movie and I'm glad that he'd gotten more lines in this movie as well as the second one and it was great seeing Junior get more screentime along with Buford T. Justice.

Well he certainly was at his most helpful role as well.
In the first Smokey & The Bandit he holds Buford's hat.
In the second, his bride-to-be walks out on him again, he gets his zipper stuck.
In this one, it seems he toughened up a bit. He pushes Buford's car when it runs out of gas. We see him changing a tire at that lake/nude beach party, and he actually holds the flashers of the police car over his head, and he climbs onto the bandit's car from Buford's while moving, and gets the fish back!
So Junior certainly did alot in this horrible, but fun & exciting to watch film, even if there is no true Bandit.

Junior was one of the few good things in this otherwise really bad movie.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
