To just 'give money away' is pointless.
The receiver has no attachment to the money..they didn't sweat or strive to get it.
They didn't earn it..so it probably won't be spent wisely.because they'll expect more free $$$$$.

I don't care for the current Democratic Party but I don't want the party to cease to exist. If you want to see corruption and the nation veer off the road (one way or another), try having a one party system. you will see corruption the likes of which you have never dreamed. Whether it's only Republican or only Democrat, if we don't have the one party pushing against the other, it will be a disaster. So I think Jean Smart's idea is ill advised.
