I love these short stories from The Whistler series.
I own all on dvd, as I was able to record from tv movie channels through out the years, and I DO watch them again and again.
The Voice Of The Whistler is my favorite.
What a good little story and I am a sucker for a light house seaside story. lol
Catch it or all of them.
    Great.
    Comment on this Whistler. Please.

Saw this one yesterday morning on TCM. I thought it was a very interesting story and Lynn Merrick was truly beautiful. I too liked the lighthouse setting and thought the photography was really great.
I don't know if TCM will continue showing The Whistler movies on Saturday morning but they usually show all the movies in a series sequentially from start to finish. I hope they will do that with The Whistler series.

I liked it, but it ended too abruptly. I wish they had spent some more time developing the plot in the second half.

I thought this one was decent. Too much drama and not enough thriller for my taste. Fortunately, the solid acting from the cast keeps it watchable throughout. 6 out of 10 from me.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
