Movie Title question

Does anyone know if the title has anything to do with the Paul Simon song "All Around The World or The Myth of Fingerprints" from his Graceland album? I have not seen the film, I just ran across it here. Perhaps "The Myth of Fingerprints" is a commonly used phrase and I have just never heard it before?

"The Myth of Fingerprints" comes from the notion that every fingerprint, like a snowflake, is unique (no two are alike). I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hope this fit in somewhere with the movie's theme.

About the title, Freundlich remarks,
It's about identity and how it's not a constant the way a fingerprint is. People change and you might not always be able to find them by examining just one mark they make in their life - you might have to grow with them and change with them and accept how they change in order to continually find them to be someone you know.
I mean is there actually something that is a core to your identity, like your family, your childhood? Are those things always defining you or are you constantly changing, moving away from them? I guess both.

The Myth of Fingerprints is from Paul Simon's album Graceland, and I'm a bit disgruntled to see that Sean Gallagher the featured reviewer notes the title came from a Simon and Garfunkle song. Um, get with it, Sean.

The closest thing I can think of a connection of title to story is that the family is a connection of unique individuals, as the siblings are shown to be very different, and often unconnected people. Personally, I thought the title a bit pretentious and not adquately discriptive my own self.
