As always things explode way too easily like when they shoot the tanker truck.
(Revenge for all the chicks watching who have been lewdly hit up on to give them something to cheer about.)
I prefer the Naked Gun spoof of the movie posted below.
I always felt like the detective, played by Harvey, found them way too easily.
Where did all those cops come from and how did they get there so quickly for the final chase off the cliff scene?
And of course they make the husband the one left look like a dumb doofus stepping on his pizza he leaves on the floor.
It’s to make you think, “Yeah, you get away from him girlfriend!” as another movie manipulative technique.

I saw your review of Village of the Damned.
Did you know it’s a remake?
I watched the original recently and then the sequel Children of the Damned right after.
Village wasn’t bad and Children was too much like Village.
I noticed some similarities of scenes in a preview for the JC remake.

Yeah, I haven't seen the original yet. The remake was awful and made me laugh. Too bad about John Carpenter.

In the orig. they didn’t explain what knocked up the women.
The whole town all fell asleep and then woke up a few hours later at the same time.
Did that happen in the remake?
And what are you adding?
The Hitcher to watch, how cops show up out of nowhere to the hate list or both?

You might want to watch the sequel as well even though it is pretty similar only this time with the kids being pretty much on their own taking a stand and being on the defensive inside a condemned church.
I wonder if the remake took elements from both?
