That is so sad. I remember being very active here a few years ago, writing a lot of posts (called myself something else back then). Sadly those are already gone, but at least the board was still here, and maybe even some of the old posters.
There is no place on the net that can replace either this board or any similar.
On facebook you usually need to be a member of a group dedicated to a specific movie, but on imdb you can choose for yourself if you want to add a board to your favorites or not. Either way, there are million of boards available for you once you have registered. I can't think of any other discussion board with the same quality and opportunities that is available for the whole world, where you can meet other fans and members from all kinds of countries.
