I prefer Brotherhood to the original FMA

Here's mine:
I can't STAND Crispin Freeman as Alucard in Hellsing. He has a smooth nice American voice but that is not what the character is at all. I can only listen to the awesome Japanese voice.
That being said - I only like Anderson's Scottish dub. I wish I could have Japanese Alucard and Scottish Anderson voices in a battle.

I actually hate the animation in Ultimate for that very reason. Those long arms and shark grins are silly.
Another unpopular opinion I hold is that TV series Alucard looked scarier than OVA Alucard.

Okay, here I go
- The anime of
Naruto Shippuden
sucks and doesn't do any justice to the manga at all - I prefer the 2001 English dub of
Akira
over the 1990 dub - I think
Soul Eater
is stupid and overrated
Fairy Tail
has the best English dub of any anime
And lastly- I think
The Lion King
is WAY better than
Kimba the White Lion
A Decepticon never retreats - Starscream (G1)
[Formerly CosmosX9]
- The anime of

Another one:
Princess Mononoke is the bets animated film ever
Tatum is the best voice for Sebastian, so superior to Ono
I liked the 2nd season of Darker than Black
Orihime from Bleach is average looking
My favorite role of Vic's is Tamaki from OHSHC
Bleach is the best anime
The End of Evangelion is a terrible movie
I like Shinji more than Asuka
Fate Stay Night sounds a lot better in English
Anohana is not that great -

I thought most people prefer dubbed?
It always seemed to me i was in the minority that I prefer subtitles. The only exception is Robotech. I like the dub and rewritten plot combining 3 separate animes into a sci-fi epic. -

Isao Takahata's films are better than Hayao Miyazaki's.
Hayao Miyazaki films from Princess Mononoke onward are boring, unsubtle, badly written messes usually with tacked on endings - It doesn't help that most people treat Miyazaki like some god of anime that must not be spoken ill of, it's a shame that he has become synonymous with Ghibli which robs credit from the other people at the studio (I don't mind his films up to Porco Rosso).
Innocence is better than Ghost in the Shell (I know this has already been mentioned in another post).
A show that has been edited and/or dubbed can be better than the original version - See Samurai Pizza Cats vs Kyatto Ninden Teyandee or Cowboy Bebop.
No matter how far a Jackass travels, it won't come back a horse Batou - GITS 2: Innocence -

My opinions.
- Every Tenchi Muyo! series in existence is terrible.
- FLCL is horrible, i felt myself becoming dumber as subjected myself to each episode.
- Toriko is currently the best shonen anime.
- Naurto, One Piece, & Bleach all suck.
- Fairy Tail, while good, is horribly overrated.
- Dub is better than Sub.
- Durarara!! is better than Baccano!
- Gurren Lagann is not the greatest thing to ever happen, according to most, it is.
- Inuyasha should not have gotten The Final Act.
- Big O Season 2 is just as good as season 1.
- Deadman Wonderland is pretty popular right? it's a POS.
- Gun X Sword is a worthy rip off of Trigun & Bebop.
- I find Chobits extremely boring.
- I haven't & probably never will watch NGE.
- The last 13 episodes ruins Death Note.
- Eden of the East is completely average. Most tell me it's amazing.
- HSOTD sucked.
- Wulin Warriors is THE GREATEST SHOW EVERthat one was a sick joke.
That's all i can think of at the moment.

I hated Gantz. The pacing was godawful. The CGI was just laughable. The Dub and Sub were almost Bible Black status at times.
I agree, After Story's ending
was a major copout
.
Claymore had one of the worst protagonists I've ever seen, Raki. Claire wasn't that great either.
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal is far better than the series.
I don't like fanservice in anything besides the ecchi and harem genre.
Sword Art Online was trash.
Elfen Lied is far from "mature" or sad. It's themes didn't hide the cutesy characters, fan service, harem, or
incest love interest
.
That being said, I actually enjoy some harem and ecchi anime.
Mirai Nikki was bad.
Watamote is not funny. -

"Attack on Titan" is not the greatest series ever. In the manga, all the side characters look the same. Also, the characters are basically stock military movie characters. You have the prejudiced vengeance seeker, the timid soldier that always panics in battle, the cold female, the star pupil bully, and the hardass instructor. Finally, the fanbase pisses me off to no end. If you dare to say anything bad about it, they will have you crucified. They never shut up about this series. They also tend to blurt out spoilers like as if they think you've already seen it. Yeah, I really needed to know that
Eren became a Titan
before I actually got to that part. It really helps my viewing experience that I don't get surprised. AOT fans are quite possibly the most annoying fanbase I experienced, and I really hope AOT dies quickly so those people can move on to the next passing fad like they did with "Mirai Nikki" and "Sword Art Online." -

Thought of some more:
One Piece really went downhill after the timeskipwhich is the Most Pointless Timeskip Ever
Fanservice is actually okay if done in moderation
Space Dandy is actually more fun and enjoyable than a lot of shows that have a plot.
Being a fan means being unashamed of what you like, no matter what anyone else says -

This is unpopular? I thought most enjoyed the show?
I'd like to add to mine- Zetman & Code:Breaker, despite both having 35 episodes worth of material crammed into 13, are both very good shows.

I ship Laluche with all 3 girls
I don't ship any guy from Free!, none of them have a romantic feelings for each other.
Rukia is one of the best looking girls in Bleach
DRRR is WAY better than Baccano
Death Note is boring
Lucy from FT is overrated
Porco Rosso is better than Spirited Away -

Since Im too casual in the anime fandom Im not completely sure what would be considered unpopular or not, but here goes anyway.
Also I like to write so this will be long.
With some rare exceptions Im a dub only girl.
I adore Lelouch of Code Geass, but hes overall a villain protagonist to me. I also consider him to have made Susaku the shell of himself that he became.
Guilty Crown has a interesting premise, but overall poor execution.
Madoka Magica is a welcome deconstruction of the magical girl genre, but the designs of the characters, witches, and labyrinths are atrocious and kind of destroy the seriousness of the world for me.
I have never watched Naruto and the overall art style of the show makes me not want to.
Howls Moving Castle is the only movie by Miyazaki that I liked. The others I've seen are boring, and I don't like his art style.
Anime hair colors bother me, and take the seriousness of a show down several notches.
I've never watched Neon Genesis Evangelion and have no real desire to.
I've tried to watch Clannad and Last Exile several times over the years, and just can't. The boredom factor of both shows is high.
Fan-service (female or male)
never
has a place.
Huge eyes- I can do with less of it. Much less.
Fullmetal Alchemist is the only true version of the show. I tried to watch Brotherhood and it was way to comedic. Both shows have very ugly art styles though.
Bleach is an action anime first and foremost. This is not a good thing.
Death-Note is at the same time an interesting chess match between a villain protagonist and a antihero while also being kind of boring.
The
only
good romances are subtle ones.
I
know
its Japanese made, but I cant help but be slightly annoyed when clearly westernized characters are sleeping on futons, eating with chopsticks, sitting at a small table on the floor, wearing kimonos, bowing, eating box lunches,
excessively
wearing school uniforms etc.
A sure fire way to make me ignore a female character is for her to be sexualized eyecandy and/or solely a love interest.
Sword Art Online- Is boring with poor execution. Stopped after episode 8 and have no desire to pick it back up.
Shipping annoys the hell out of me, and I will never get in a conversation both online or off that involves it.
Soul Eater- The art style is an eyesore, and I despise the characters of Death the Kid and Black Star.
I dont like Pokemon and never really have. Im honestly wondering why its still around. However, even having said that, Ash, Misty and Brocks adventures are the only canon to me. All others fall under discontinuity.
I dont read or care about manga.
Fairy-tail has a lot of magic (I love fantasy animes), but the
extreme
amount of comedy killed it forever for me, and that's why I cant finish it.
D-Grayman- Considering the subject matter (apocalyptic) it should be darker than it is.
Cardcaptor Sukura is a delightful magical anime, but romance wise I think Sukaras feelings for Li came out of nowhere.
Raki from Claymore is adorable and I dont have a problem with him.
