Yes, the first is the best and is a deserved horror classic.
Part 2 did well with its opening set-piece in reintroducing Freddy into someone else’s nightmare and the 2 major kill sequences are inventively executed. That the boy was possessed by Freddy and physically did the killing, makes it more like a straightforward psycho slasher film in parts and the dreams are born out of the killer’s torment.

reading your message that scene came to my mind. what a great scene! that scene is epically great!
i thought you would appreciate part 2 bc it was when freddy was still scary and not funny and silly.
it just shows you how important wes craven's writing is bc wes didn't write or direct part 2 and it's not a great movie bc of these things.

I watched it recently. It really isn't that good. Why would Freddy suddenly change up his M.O? He haunted in dreams and now he wants to possess someone so that he can kill? He didn't need to do that cuz he already had that power. He has more power as a demonic spirit than as a human.

i know geez and she doesn't know it somehow bc she is actually on only fans now. she so broke now that she is doing only fans. what a pathetic end of career for an actress.
she looked old and ugly 10 years ago even.
the best thing ever was when charlie sheen's daughter started doing only fans. bc then charlie had a problem with this and this is the greatest example of karma i've ever heard of bc the biggest man slut of all time was charlie sheen.
he was so sleazy and disgusting having sex with all these porn stars and hookers and so this is the greatest karma ever the fact that this guy who used and abused girls and was such a player got the exact thing he did happen to him which was a bad slut daughter doing what he did for 40 years.
that is the biggest justice of all time. that is what you get charlie.
she is doing the exact thing you did charlie so you can't say **** against this.
