    Why not? It comes from Shiner, Texas. It's one of the most popular beers across the state.

      It is. Although this wasn't set in West Texas. Only a couple of towns mentioned are marginally considered West Texas.

        Well they repeated the phrase "west Texas" several times throughout the movie, so it's hardly surprising people would get the idea that it was set there. I don't recall them ever mentioning any other area of Texas.

          Yeah I said that because if you weren't from West or North Texas you'd think it really was in West Texas. Even people in other parts of Texas have probably not heard of the towns mentioned.

            Yeah, it was North Central Texas. Was wondering why they acted like it was in the west.
