Always loved the new charcoal uniforms and never understood why the Ghostbusters didn't keep them as their new default suits throughout the movie. I prefer them to the standard gray/tan suits. Anyone else?

I may be in the minority here since this is a GB2 post, I will always prefer the original light colored uniforms.
Does anyone know why the uniforms were darkened?
I always imagined that they forgot the number of the exact fabric, or it was discontinued, or there was a mix-up.
