The Salem's Lot miniseries too; I was 9 when it first aired, and I had to close my eyes whenever Mr. Barlow appeared.

No, but I've seen others citing it as something that scared them. The Large Marge scene in Pee Wee got me.
So did the foot episode of Married with Children. Well, the 2 weird big feet on Peg scenes.
