None of the regular cast members did, but a bunch of guest stars from Barney Miller made guest appearances on Night Court as well. Just look at the series finale of Barney Miller: Stanley Brock, Oliver Clark, John Dullaghan & George Murdock were also on Night Court and all but Clark appeared multiple times as multiple characters. Also add the late Al Ruscio (among many others)

Funny you share that because the actor did show up as a homicide cop on an early NC episode.
He did not act the same but he had the same wardrobe!

You're definitely right about post first season NC. In the very earliest episodes I think it might have been a better fit, before the show moved over to completely goofy humor.

I agree.
It jumped the shark when it did that with the stupid, goofy characters along with the impossible and ridiculous story lines.
