In movies, they are both often portrayed as aggressive men who don't think too logically. Both can be blamed for making decisions that eventually led to their demise.
I guess Vader will always be more intelligent for not being an actual person and therefor has more possibility to be filled with more wisdom. Vader was (probably) also more spiritual and therefore (probably) more in sync with himself?
