I watched this today. In many ways, this is a fairly standard music biopic (except for the monkey of it all). The monkey was well done, but I don't think it was really necessary. The story is entertaining enough and there are some effective moments here, monkey or not. 7/10 is my rating.

Ah, thanks…that confirms my decision to skip it.
Well, I never was and never will be a Robbie Williams fan.
And there were better monkeys before.
