I found a copy on VHS too, but the quality kinda sucks!
What about a cleaned-up DVD release?

there is a new book at amazon.com called Television Fright Films of the 1970s that talks about this film.

Couldnt agree with you more; one of the best TV horror movies ever made. Deserves a remaster and MOD disc release as do so many others. Hollywood could take a lesson from movies like this as to what can be done with a small budget and a talented cast and crew. Back in the seventies they pumped these films out like clockwork, and got really good at it.
