Art Evans is considered a reliable character actor in the industry. He has also done a lot of theater in New York and LA. He is regular looking and not in anyone's entourage so he clearly has built his long career based on skill and professionalism. I agree with the poster above that he was great in A Soldier's Story and Fright Night though he may not have been the best actor for the role in Die Hard 2.

ditto! i cant believe how many movies hes in! im watching a soldiers story right now, so dont believe the other 2 posters that said hes great in it. thats the whole reason im here now, to see if anyone else thought he sucked.

He was very good in Soldier's Story. For the person who said he sucked, what is your reason for saying he sucked, he was good. And in Leadbelly he was excellent. He totally nailed the part of Blind Lemon Jefferson.

Just saw Die Hard 2 again and wanted to see if anyone else thought he was awful in ityep! He really sticks out and is kind of a distraction because of how bad he is in it. The female reporter is also really bad in it.

HAHAHA!!! He really is terrible, but for some strange reason I like him in Die Hard 2. The movie wouldn't be the same if I couldnt laugh and make fun of his voice.
