Would it have been better with Guy Ritchie?

I read in the trivia that Guy Ritchie was set to direct but dropped out. Do you guys think this movie would have been better under his direction? Personally I don't. I think Matthew Vaughn pulled off an amazing job with this film and made it fun and interesting in a way Guy Ritchie couldn't have. Which reminds me, I still need to see Kingsman.

I think it might. I can't quite put my finger on it, but to me this movie felt unpolished in a way
Guy Ritchie
's movies (the ones I consider comparable to this onei.e.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
,
Snatch. (2000)
, and
RocknRolla (2008)
) don't. That being said, I do like the end product. I suspect it would've been a completely different movie tonally under Ritchie's direction.

I don't really prefer either to the otherit depends on what I feel like watching at the moment. That's of course why it's nice that there are both kinds: theres's the option to choose.

Sorry, let me rephrase myself. I prefer Vaughn's style for this story. I love Ritchie, Snatch is one of my favorite movies, but I just think he wouldn't have been able to improve upon this fantastic film.
