What an awful movie

Amazing how Michael was able to beat an entire mob of full-grown men and kill off nearly the entire town in Halloween Kills and then get his ass handed to him by one chick in Halloween Ends! Oh yeah, and Corey kicked his ass too earlier in the film.

I
really
liked HALLOWEEN 2018, and thought this run of movies was to be a good, planned-out trilogy intended as an epic capper to the franchise. Instead, this one fell right back into HALLOWEEN 4 territory. A soulless space-filler that took some really great ideas then did absolutely nothing with them. Insultingly stupid, just plain bad in every possible way; I was angry I'd wasted time on it.

I can't call it awful, but it was definitely not good. The pacing was weird. So was the tone. Laurie was wasted being kept in the hospital. She never even confronts Michael again. Characters that I wanted to like made stupid decisions. Laurie's daughter's death was so ridiculous; it didn't need to happen. Why the hell would she ever go into that house alone? Michael Myers is suddenly as invulnerable as Jason Voorhees.
On second thought, you're right: it's pretty awful.
So many stories, so little time.
