TBH: He wasn't saying anything I had not already heard or read in other places and he got it wrong with that white part being the nose when it was actually the tail section.
Did it survive the implosion because of the machinery in there or because the leak was not in that part of the sub?
I find it amazing at how a liquid can be so dense that it did that.

I've gotten to about 10 metres (Just short of it) in the ocean before I couldn't go down any further Warren.
I've no idea how they got down so far mentally. Must have been a crazy time and a quick painless death.
But using up so much of the navy and lifeguard has got to come in at a price

I don't get it why the maker cut costs in the making of it.
If he was rich enough to buy a titanium hull then he should have done that.
If he was doing it because he could not afford it then he should not have made it in the first place.
I may do something cheaply with a DIY project at home with things I have on hand but there are no lives at risk if I do that.

It's the guy's kid (Who didn't want to go but was guilt tripped into it being a bonding experience) that hits me squarely.
Rich idiots die being rich idiots - fair enough!
Poor kid was at uni (And a geek at that!) and wouldn't have been in that boat if his father had just accepted his properly cautious pass on the situation
