It was a woman. Also, it wasn’t actually asked, it was stated. I was academically struggling and unsure of what to do (whether to switch majors) and she was like “you need to figure out what to do because you can’t just get by on your looks all your life”

It doesn't sound like she gave you very actionable advice. For example, they might see which subjects you weren't actually struggling in and help provide a pathway into careers that were related to those subjects.
Or perhaps she was speaking from experience and you reminded her of herself
