Men are more physically capable, more aggressive, more prone to violence, etc. The average dude could seriously hurt the average woman. A man's protective instincts should create a natural revulsion to it too. Western society has gone overboard with it though. We're all raised to never hit a woman under any circumstances, to the point where a wife slaps her husband in the face in public during an argument, if he slaps her back everyone is aghast to learn he's a "wife beater." We make no distinction between the man who throws haymakers because dinner isn't on the table and the guy who returns a non-damage inflicting, this stings your ego more than your face open hand slap.
From one adult to another, if you can't take the same slap you just gave somebody else - keep your hands to yourself.

This is where the conversation gets interesting, because the parameters I carefully set in the other post don't even involve self-defense. It's a teaching opportunity. If you know you're a piece of **** and get slapped after you're caught cheating, act like a man and take it. You deserve it. But if you're with a woman who thinks it's acceptable to strike you in the face because she has a temper, you either correct that behavior immediately or get the **** out of that toxic relationship. A restrained slap might be the only thing that reestablishes the power dynamic in her mind. Hey buddy, I could end you, but I don't because that's not how I was raised.

Men are retarded beasts and need a strict universal rule like that constantly repeated at them so they can accept the simple concept of not hitting people who are weaker than them. And a lot of them still do it.
It can't allow for exceptions like you listed because men are too stupid. Just much easier for their pea brains to be told women are weaker so never hit a woman. -

A few years back at a party some crazy bitch started swinging on me relentlessly bc I was talking to her friend. I was rolling my ass off and drunk and held my arms up to defend myself. This bitch was an army brat and knew how to hit. After she hit me over 15 times while I was retreating to the driveway I unloaded one right to her temple and knocked her down cold.
