It's cool. But I hate how overtly British it is. Reminds me of Bowie's earliest records. Bowie got better when he started doing funk and electronic/experimental stuff. What happened to Syd Barrett was a tragedy, but he's the worst vocalist in Pink Floyd which is saying something considering how Roger Waters can't sing at all.

Let me list a bunch of rock bands that aren't from the UK.
Queens of the Stone Age, the Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Failure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Primus, The Doors, Smashing Pumpkins, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sigur Rós. Hell you even missed out on My Bloody Valentine by a small stretch of water.
The list goes on and that's without really even getting into metal.
Also, grunge > the rock music you've sent my way tonight.
I'll give you Radiohead, David Bowie, Royal Blood, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. -
