Very similar reasons compared to why many men are preferring to stay single. The negatives of relationships, divorce, divorce courts, and generally the lack of loyalty will far outweigh the positives for a lot of people.
People can live how they want much more freely when they're single. -

It's well known since SHAKESPEAREN times a lot of women hate men.
In modern times a big subject of psychology was women being envious of men. One reason was due to power envy and the other reason was the society was too focused on men, thus making women feel useless in their roles.
So, one theory was that women have a Napoleon complex. The other theory was that war made males overly socially valued. Everything women do is massively important, but that was all pushed to the side. That made women hate being women as they feel like second class citizens.
Also, the media has launched decades of attacks against males and family.
That has been triggered by most Jewish feminists. Marxism proposes that all capitalist females are whores. They marry for money or are sold off for money by their families.
So, the marxist feminist position is to vilify males.
All of that is true and so it has created a cancerous disruption in the natural order.
