You don't know all her reasons. Again, if she's from a poor family and you haven't walked in her shoes, I wouldn't judge her. Again, other qualities take priority for me.

I know her well
I know that she could afford cigarettes, so she can afford braces

My sister and I had braces as adults. It's worth it if you care about your smile

Do you ever wonder why celebrities look hotter than the rest of us?
It's 99% the teeth.
Even if they had nice, clean teeth before, by our standards, they get those swapped out with a new set of artificially straight, pearly whites.
Even my teeth, as straight and healthy as they are, even spending hundreds to have having my silver fillings replaced with white ones, are still not up to celebrity standards.
I don't really like how my mouth is shaped and how my top teeth don't show much when I talk - one of these days I'm getting veneers for that full-smile look.
Look up Judge Jeannine Spiro, Janelle Monae, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff teeth. All fake, but beautiful sets of teeth.
So, your question: would I date someone with normal, non-celebrity teeth, but otherwise white enough and healthy? Absolutely.
Would I date someone with bad oral hygiene? No. Would I date someone with yellow or outrageously crooked teeth? Usually, no.
If someone has noticeably bad crooked teeth, then they would have had those since childhood, and any rational adult would have invested into getting their teeth fixed by then. If not, then they don't care about themselves, and I'd have nothing in common with them. Those are usually rednecks and stuff whom I wouldn't get along with anyway.
Cosmetic enhancements for one's teeth are important, and if someone doesn't care about their teeth, they're not going to amount to much in life elsewhere. It's actually a huge pet peeve of mine when people force their smile closed in all their pictures, obviously hiding their teeth.
