The man doesn't have to put so much effort into his game or wooing someone. He can be like, "I'm an attractive guy, you're an attractive guy, we should ****." And, his target will either feel the same way or he doesn't. They get right down to business. Gays don't have to be worry about being a gentleman and holding doors open and all that gay ****.
Gays don't have to worry about appearing as though they're not after just sex. They're partners are men also and feel that same way.
{Btw, girls do want sex on first dates just as much as guys, but there's a social stigma in place that forbids them from vocalizing this assertively. The pressure is on for them to appear as if the guy they're with doesn't think they're too easy, so the guy has the task to make her feel comfortable and that she's not a slut if she chooses to **** him).
It eliminates the pressure for the cultural obligation for the man to pay for the date. Gays be like, I paid last time, you pay this time. It works. 50/50. Gays get off SO much cheaper. And they still get sex, and quicker, and more often.
