What a rubbish article!
I had to search elsewhere to find out that it apparently happened on Koh Samui.
Looks like aa hoax to me. Russians are notorious for staging deaths in Thailand.
She's lucky she didn't get the tire treatment.

Show me a body on a slab and I'll believe otherwise.
It's Thailand, that's common press there. Russians pretending to be dead for whatever reasons is also fairly common there.
In this world of social media and with it only being a fiver for unlimited Internet for tourists I find it hard to believe that the body of a model that washed up on the beaches of Koh Samui hasn't found its own Instagram purchase and new viral sympathy campaign with eye witnesses.
Also, rainy season is over there. So I need more than a little bit of pink paper in an sea with no landmarks to give e anything of a certainty that this isn't just a hoax.

The amount of bimbos who kneel down in the sand with the waves lapping up behind them to pose for their boyfriend/whoever in the better places in Thailand is astounding.
You can't even go for a walk along the beach without almost tripping over 20 separate versions of the same set-up.
There are plenty of actual deaths in Thailand and, while this might still be one, this doesn't seem to add up to how they are reported
