Is stuff like this even surprising anymore?
If he gets 20 years or whatever for simply downloading some kiddie porn (he probably will) and Ghislaine Maxwell walks or only gets a few years for grooming and trafficking underage girls, we'll know that there's no real justice in this country.
I don't know what the sentence should be for simply liking or downloading child porn. While it's bad, it seems like a much less offense than actively engaging in kiddie fiddling. The guy has issues for sure and needs counseling. I don't know if locking him away for decades (at taxpayers' expense) is the way to go. -

If nobody downloaded it, there wouldn't be a market for it. If there wasn't a market for it, there'd be far less pedophilic abuse taking place.
I bet you would buy sweatshop shoes, if somebody offered them to you. They're only shoes, after all. You had nothing to do with their manufacture.
