I want to believe that but when you consider what a frothing ideologue Flimflam is I can believe he egged her on.
At the very least a parent should say ‘no way in hell’ if their child says they want to cut off their tits and all the other ghastly and irreversible mutilations that go along with ‘transitioning’, even if they’re an adult.
As a parent you never stop protecting your child, if they want to ‘transition’ then you get them emergency psychiatric help and remove them from the cult that brainwashed them, Flimflam

filmflaneur seems pretty level-headed to me and given the crazy rant in your OP it is you who is frothing at the mouth like a beat up rabid dog, whereas filmflaneur is much saner than you. are you ok, Melton? the crushing realisation of you feeling inadequate and incomplete oozes out of every word in every post of yours, mate. you should check in with your therapist on that.
