Autism is not a mental illness. It’s a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave.
I understand what you mean and you're right about the usual categorization of (mental) illnesses.
But I haven't followed that categorization for a while now.
For example, depression. #Bornavirus
