How old is she? Does she go to the vet just once a year for her annual checkup and shots? So many dogs get really nervous at the vets - even some of the biggest and bravest dogs can become nervous noodles while at the vets.
That's wonderful that she is such an easy dog for them to work with. I can imagine what some of the vets might have to face when they have a big or aggressive dog that's also really scared and might bite them. Them giving you so much good feedback about how Daisy did is great since they have all that experience dealing with all different kinds of dogs. It must be nice when Daisy comes in and they get an easy appointment!
Daisy sounds like she's a little sweetheart who is happy to be around other people. It's a wonderful feeling having a joyful dog! Pretty dog with a great temperament - what a beautiful combination!

She's two and a half now, and sees the vet once a year. While she was a puppy and on a walk, she would insist on stopping and greeting strangers because she loves attention. She's unusually friendly with everyone. I've never had a dog quite like her. She's a happy pup.
She's very playful, and extremely energetic at times, but otherwise she just wants to cuddle/be near me. -

Ahh, so that makes sense. She's really only been to the vet once (or twice?) before, so you're still waiting to see her pattern while being at the vet.
She sounds wonderful! That's such a good sign that she's friendly with other people and other dogs. Socializing them is good for them as well. It's sweet that she's a cuddlebug! Aren't those the absolute best ever!?
I was reading that if your dog looks into your eyes with their eyes softening as they gaze at you, it's a sign that they really trust you and have essentially chosen you as "the one!" That's quite a balance between all that energy and wanting to cuddle and hug you. I'm glad you found each other.

Funny thing is the vet came out with a muzzle and I told him that she wasn't aggressive.
When she was about 10 weeks old she got up right in my face and she I could see her eyes moving as she was studying my face. It was quite funny.
She's currently lethargic until tomorrow morning. -

Why would they bring a muzzle for such a wee dog? OMG, look at her gigantic eyes! They're huuuuge! She looks like a fawn.
Yeah, if she feels lethargic and mopey, it's probably pretty normal. I think even if they do well at the vets, no one really likes being at the doctors and getting poked and being a pin cushion. It's exhausting physically, emotionally, and on the nerves. She probably will want to just chill out and let her body resettle back to normal. Remember, it took my dog 2 days to perk back up again, but he's been like that every time he goes to the vet, and he really likes the vet and all the girls that work there. So, happy as he may be, he still needs time to rejuvenate. I'm sure Daisy will be the same and she'll bounce back.

She was back to her normal self by the next morning. Thanks for asking.
I knew it! That's good news. Give Daisy an extra boop for me!

Yes, I've watched pretty much everything I could find by her. It's so weird seeing her without the wig and makeup, and speaking in her own voice. She's created such a fun and amazing character. It's unbelievable how makeup and a wig can transform someone so dramatically.
